  3. Hey all, So i have done a bit of an updated video showcasing my setup, i uploaded two videos one with comentary and one with out since i may put you to sleep with my voice Each video has time stamps in the VIDEO DESCRIPTION so you do not have to scrub thru the video your self or watch parts that do not interest you. No commentary www.youtube.com/watch?v=6_2w3N2HdEA Commentary www.youtube.com/watch?v=tyLDCHm_2sE My idea behind this PC or HTPC was to have a " console killer " pc the size of a console that could play a range of games from the latest AAA titles to all the Retro games i can get my hands on. I wanted the interface to be easy to navigate and to look good, so i went with Kodi as the main front-end with the theme experience360 to give you that Xbox 360 feel.I have Kodi launch over/before windows explorer via a RegEdit hack so you never see windows, giving you a more immersive " console " feel. I also wanted it to be portable hence why i have chosen a small case, this case is perfect to travel with it fits in my back pack and has a carry handle on top make it very easy to pick up and take to a mates place and jam out some local multiplayer games.... which i am actually doing tonight. The PC case im using is the Lian-Li PCTU 100, it is pretty much the smallest PC case you can build in, here are some comparison pictures https://imgur.com/a/KvVUw I have 6 xbox controllers hooked up into the system with two of them being wireless and the rest wired i also have a nifty chatpad that can come in hand when browsing the interwebs via the couch, i also have 4 N64 pc controllers as well and a ps3 Bluetooth remote that has a but tone of buttons that you can custom assign, for example i have recording buttons, volume button, ALT TAB button, and yea like many other buttons setup on the remote that come in handy. 6. Battlefield 4 Scrim Server Classic

Mag dumps and squad leader spawns are my only problem with it. While squad leader spawns are ok for the people that are aware of this feature, when it comes to casuals who have no idea about it, it can ceartian be abit of an effort.
  7. Battlefield 5

Yup, the push on Dice to have it released with the " next Gen " consoles did not help at all.

  13. High tickrate builds rolling out!

HIGH TICKRATE BETA FOR PC RENTAL SERVERS Starting today, we are sending the rental server providers a new build which enables the first BETA of our high tickrate server! This means that there will be popping up servers in your server browser where simulation runs at a higher rate than 30hz in the very near future! WHAT IS HIGH TICKRATE? Normally, servers in Battlefield 4 run at 30hz (30 updates a second or a delay of 33ms). With this change, we allow the servers to run faster than that. All the way up to 144hz! (144 updates in a second or a delay of 6.9 ms!). As you can imagine, this has a pretty significant effect on how the game plays, feels and how precise it is. In general, a higher tickrate significantly improves on and in some cases fully removes netcode issues such as: • Dying behind cover • Not seeing bullets impact when shooting enemies (AKA “dusting”) • Burst damage (getting killed in a single frame) On top of this, it also makes the game run much smoother in regards to running around and colliding with things. In general you will be able to play on servers where hit registration, player to player delays and lots of other things will be significantly better and faster – some even say it is like a new game… ANY CAVEATS? All of these improvements come at a price: higher tickrate requires both the server/client to do more work, and using more bandwidth to do it. With the groundwork laid down in the Fall and Winter patch, and our extensive collaboration with the Hardline team, we have been able to make these added costs bearable! Keep in mind this is still a BETA, and we are continuously improving the experience! For the upcoming Fall Patch we have several improvements and many of the known issues are fixed there https://eaassets-a.akamaihd.net/dice-commerce/battlefield4/assets/patch_notes/HighTickrat_BETA_R1_R4_DS.pdf
